September

I know! like always I'm late on my September picture. its not a very good picture because i took it really quick. I took this one at the Library because its one of our new favorite places. If we could Raegan would make me read books to her ALL day! I love that she loves books! Kade isn't quit into as she is... He just likes to rip the pages out.
Raegan is so grown up.... I still am having problems with her attitude... but I think she gets it from me. Some days she spend half the day in time out. The best part is when she knows she has been mean or done something bad and she puts her self in time out. Whats up with two year old tantrums.... this is a stage right? The laying on the ground and the kicking and screaming? I'm like what the....... Simmer down girl! Anyways other than that she if fun! She likes to just jibber Jabber about everything! I love hearing what she comes up with.
Kade is so sweet! I just want to eat him, like always! He is 100% Mommy's boy! ok... maybe 90%... he really likes his daddy too ;)
Kade is starting to fight back with Raegan. I told her this day would come, the day when Kade gets her back for all the mean things and all the toys she has taken away from him. He gets so frustrated when she takes things from him. In my head I'm cheering "GO Kade!! Don't Be a WIMP!" haha! anyways! I love my kids... most days! ok... everyday!

Finally

Kades Birthday Party!
We had family over tonight to celebrate Kades first year!
I know I have already posted about kade but I just keep finding my self falling more and more in love with this little guy! He makes me so happy!
I love you kade!

Kade loves Pancakes and waffles. So i decided to have a waffle cake for his birthday cake.

Isn't my mom so cute ;)

Notice something missing from the picture? Could it be Raegan? Raegan was up stairs playing with the cousins while Kade opened his presents! I'm kinda glad too because it gave us a chance to let Kade do things on his own. Some times... ok ALL the time Raegan likes to do everything for Kade.

I loved watching Kade open his presents because he was really excited about them! He would look inside and then pull out the gift with a big grin on his face!

Party Party party!

Alright! So here is a new fun idea that i came up with last minute for kades birthday party! Its called A WAFFLE CAKE BAR!
This was so fun and way different from the regular birthday bash.
I Made three different kinds of cake batter and 3 waffle makers. Everyone got to make there own cake in a waffle maker. They picked from chocolate, lemon, or white.
(cake batter is the same consistancy as waffle batter, it cooks just the same.)

Next you pick a frosting.
Then we had ice cream for the top and toppings for that.
And all the toppings you can think of!

Yummy! Look how good that looks!

Everyone had a blast making their own cake!

Happy Birthday Kade!

THE JUNGLE OF LOVE

My cute sister in law cara is expecting a sweet little boy next month!

Me and my other sister in laws threw a super cute shower for her on Saturday!

The theme was Jungle!

We had a lot of fun with this!

The diaper Cake! Looks yummy hu!

I borrowed jungle stuffed animals from my friends and used them in the decorating! This really added to the party!

Hanging onesies on a clothes line was an idea that I got from Tip junkie!

Look at this awesome cake that Costco did for us!
Cute Cara plying the string game!

This is a game that I got from a Christmas party that we went to last year, but I changed it to go with a baby shower. All you do is have everyone draw on piece of paper on there head. I had certain things they had to draw like a bottle and a Binky and a crib. After we are done we look at the pictures and you get points for things, like if your bottle had milk in it, or if the string was connected to the Binky. It was fun!

Savannah's Shower!

I was so excited to go to my best friends Shower! It was so fun to see her and her itty bitty little tiny belly! I am so excited for her to be a mom to a little girl!

I also got to see my friend Whitney from High school!

THE GIFT

Savannah's gift turned out so cute! All i did was get an empty paint can at Home Depot and covered it with paper. and then I went crazy with ribbon and these cute little flowers that I found for scrap booking.

I found this cute saying it says...
A baby girl...
one of the most beautiful miracles in life.
one of the greatest joys we can ever know,
and one of the reasons why
there is a little extra Sunshine, laughter and happiness
in your world today.
Above the saying I wrote
PAINT YOUR WORLD PINK
this kinda tied it all together!
Inside the can i put a cute outfit rolled up with a headband around it! so cute!

Modesty

How do you teach your kids about Modesty? By example? By talking about it? What else? I don't know. This is a hard subject. I know Raegan Is only 2 but this has crossed my mind many times, but didn't quit hit me till last week when I finally let Raegan pick out her first Barbie Doll. I know she is a little young but she played with that thing for hours and hours in the car while we drove to island park. Well. to make a long story short Raegan kept wanting to take off the Barbie's Clothes and them put them on again. This went on for a while till she was done playing with the doll and just threw it on the floor of the car. It just so happened that she had just taken the clothes off of the Barbie. Well... The Barbie was Naked the rest of the weekend because somewhere along the way we lost part of the clothing. It really started to bug me that there was a Naked Woman in our presents, and I realized that The barbie was NOT being Modest! I knew this is where we had to start with talking about modesty. We need to keep our Barbies modest. But How? You can't even find Barbie clothes that are modest. Everything is too short, tight and o yeah did I say short? But then I remembered Something that my sister in law had done for all of her Daughters Barbies, She drew swimsuits on them with permanent markers! BRILLIANT!! I was so excited! So here is the fashionable Pink and green swim suit made only by
BiC Color collection.
