Wasatch Back!

K Here we go! Getting ready for the coolest Race ever! Last week we had a team meeting and met all of our awesome team mates and picked our running legs! I was lucky to get the leg that I wanted! One with no crazy hills! I will be runner number 2! Check out the coarse at http://www.ragnarrelay.com/wasatchback/coursemaps I run legs 2. 14. and 26. A total of 15.0 miles!

Of course I am in charge of decorating the vans. So i was thinking that it would be fun to get millions of glow in the dark stars and use the tacky stuff to stick them on the vans! They have prizes for the best decorated vehicles. and best costumes. so if anyone has any ideas let me know! Or if you find a good deal on glow in the dark stuff! Also i am looking for bright colored bandannas with Stars and moons on them!

but speaking of Vans
We are looking for anyone that would be willing to donate there large vehicle for the Race . We need something that can hold 6 runners and a driver along with all of our gear. The date of the race is June 20th and 21st. Please let me know if you or anyone you know would be so very kind to let us use their car! Thanks everyone!!

Best friends

Kade always wants what Raegan has. Even though he is only 8 months he watches her very intently. The other day I came up stares where they were watching a movie and this is what i found! Seriously! I didn't give that sippy to kade. Raegan got it for him. He loved it! I love that they are already good friends. Raegan is always trying to help kade (mixed with trying to bug him too). yesterday I was feeding kade some baby food and left it sitting on the tray when I went to grab the phone. When i came back Raegan was happily feeding kade. She wasn't doing a bad job either. They were both laughing! I love it!

i DId iT! 13.1 MilEs!

I can't believe I actually did it. 13 miles!! But now I am wondering what I got my self into with 2 more races lined up this year. Including the Wasatch Back Relay and the Top of Utah Marathon... yeah there is no Half in in frount of that one!! I am excited and so grateful for my cute friends that pull me out of bed every morning to run with them and the constant encouraging words they give me! Thanks Jennie and Shanna!.... And of coarse Tami!( I can't wait to run with you at the relay!)
My favorite thing about the Marathon was seeing my kids and husband cheering for me at the Finnish line! I couldn't wait to give them kisses! When i crossed the finnish line eyes filled up with tears in amazement of what i had just accomplished! 13 miles in 2 hours and 6 seconds!! WOW!
Thanks Dad for riding next to me on your bike for the last 7 miles! It kept me going! I can't wait to do it again! call me crazy... I KNOW! What an experience!

Mission Call

My little brother got his mission call! He is going to Tampa Florida! We are so excited for him!

Raegan's new look

Raegan kept asking me if I could cut her hair. The other day she grabbed my hand and took me down stairs to the salon. She said "mom, cut Hair." So this is what we ended up with. I think it turned out really cute! She looks so grown up!

Happy Easter!

What? Easter already happened? Where is the time going? Its hard to believe its spring when its not spring! We enjoyed our Easter Sunday Up in Sun Valley In the Snow! We were with my family and we were sure to do some of our Easter Traditions. One of my favorite is Coloring eggs! Raegan liked it too! The Easter Bunny even found us up there and Brought Raegan And Kade some very cute Baskets filled with some fun things! Raegan Had a blast!

Sun Valley!!

Last weekend we took a trip to our favorite place! SUN VALLEY! It was a mini family Reunion with my family! We had so much fun swimming, laughing, EATING (a ton), going out for pizza, playing games, staying up late talking, eating more, shopping, sleeping, watching basketball ( March Madness), Being with each other, and Of coarse eating :)





When we go To Sun valley you have to get your picture taken and put on a card so you can get into the pool and other places like that. We made a game out of it. Who ever could make the ugliest face in there picture won! It was so funny! The best part was that we had to do it without laughing! This is what me and Gavin looked like in ours... I don't think that Lady taking our pictures thought we were very funny. But who cares. we were having a good time. And it made us laugh! GOOD TIMES!

We saw the movie HORTON HEARS A WHO while we were up there! I loved that movie!

Happy Three year!!

Jared has worked for his company for 3 years now! Which means they buy him a very nice watch (that isn't cheep) and they pay for our insurance!! Go Jared! You are such a wonderful provider for our family! He was excited about his new bling so i had to show it off!

To Run or Not to Run

Well! Its March already and I have 4 weeks to train for the Salt Lake Half Marathon! This has always been a goal of mine and this year is going to be the year,Thanks to my Good friend Jennifer that gets me up at 5:30 in the morning to run! She is so awesome and so fun to run with! Also our friend Shana keeps us going in the morning too! Its been great fun! But i was so bummed to come down with a cold the other day. I was super sick! I Now have an awful cough that is keeping me from running. I hope i can get over it quick so i can get back to training! There will be nothing that will stop me from running this race! I'm so excited!
