Valentines Week!

Valentines has always been my favorite time of year! Especially since some of the most important days in my life have happened on valentines day! Like 5 years ago when Jared flew me to California for the day to tell me he loved me on the beach. Or like 3 years ago when my Little Girl was born! I am always trying to make this time of year extra special!

Now that Raegan is old enough to know that its her Birthday I am trying with all my might to only celebrate her birthday on the 14th. So this year I am trying something new! We will be having Valentines everyday this week except for Saturday which we will be Celebrating Raegan! So here are my ideas... play along if you want and let me know what things you come up with!

MONDAY! Love your family....

We are going to be doing activities with our cousins. And making Phone calls to Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles.... Also we will have a special Family night!

TUESDAY! Love YOUR fRIENDS...

Raegan will help me make Pink play do and we will take it to our Friends.

WEDNESDAY! lOVE YOUR NEighbORS...
We will make Sugar cookies and take them to our neighbors.

THURSDAY! Love your self!

Imagine This

“Raegan! Get back here! I need you to stay right by me!”
“Why mom?”
“Because I said so!”
“Kade keep your shoes on silly boy! Stop throwing them down the isles! O you crazy kids are driving me nuts!”
“MoM! I need to go Potty!”
“Seriously Raegan? Can you hold it?”“NO!”
“K hold on… lets hurry!”
“MoM… don’t come in, I can do it by my self!”
“Raegan Hurry! Your taking to long the ice-cream is going to melt in our cart!”
“Sorry mom.”
“K! Lets go pay for our groceries!”
“MoM I want these sunglasses!”
“no you need to put those back! We aren’t buying those today!”
Groceries are paid for
“Raegan I told you to put those back.”
“But I want them.”
“Sorry! Not today! Give them to me!”
Screaming at the top of her lungs “NOOOOO I want my sunglasses!
Kicking and screaming the mom one handed pushed the huge shopping cart with her one year old in it… and with the other arm she carried her out of control 3 year old like a foot ball.
“Raegan you sit right here in the front seat wile I get kade in the car and the groceries in the back.”
Still kicking and screaming the little girl opened the car door and bolted towards the store, running as fast as she could!
The mom turned around in shock to see her 3 year old almost to the store door.
“Raegan!! Get back here right now!”
The mom sprinted as fast as she could leaving the 1 year old in the cart.
“get Away from me!!” The little girl screamed!
“Raegan you need to settle down! It is not ok to act like this” The mom whispered in the little girls ear, trying not to make an even bigger seen.
The mom had had it! She threw the girl into her car seat and forced her to put her seat belt on. People all around were staring at the mom like she had just beet her little girl. Or even better… looking at her like she has kidnapped a child from the parking lot.
“Raegan sit down!! Stop making this so hard for me!”
The little girl was screaming at the top of her lungs… and kicking with all of her might, “let me go! Its too tight! Stop! DON’T!.
The mom finally got her buckled, and got in the car. As she pulled out of the parking lot she made sure that there wasn’t a cop that was going to fallow her home. Surprised no one has called 911 for an abused child in the parking lot the mom began to drive home with a screaming beast in the back and a sweet little boy. The screaming never stopped the whole way home.
“Raegan! We are home! You need to go strait to your room! No Sippy and no coming out of your room the rest of the night!
Bla bla bla… you get the rest of that story
But the worst part was…. The mom forgot to buckle Kade in his car seat ;(
she just proved to her self that she is not ready for more kids!
Thanks Raegan for giving your mom the biggest headache ever!

Table settings.

Tomorrow there is an Releafsociety activity for the Stake. They asked people from every ward to decorate a table. It was so fun to come up with the table settings. If anyone knows me you know that i have to have a theme. The theme for this table is PAPER (except for the plates and cups). So I MADE ever thing out of paper. It turned out so cute. I wish the pictures turned out better but o well...

Me and my Friend Jamie Made these darling silverware holders! they are so easy! if anyone wants me to post how I made them I will.

The place mats were even made out of paper. I just used 12x12 paper.

Each place setting looked different. It was so fun to see it all come together.

Growing up

I can't believe that Raegan is going to be 3 next month. people always think that she's older. I feel bad because I treat her like shes 5. I forget that shes only 2.

She is such a sweetheart.. but at the same time she can be such a stinker (that can be a whole other post on all the naughty things she does). She if Fun to talk to and hang out with. Her thing right now is to call everyone and everything BOBBY... Yeah I don't know where that came from, but she thinks she the funniest thing in the world.

The kids have loved playing outside this winter! Kade doesn't stay out long but Raegan would stay in the cold forever!

SunDance Film Festival 09

5 years ago Jared and I met. The night we met we spent the evening In Park city during the sundance Film festival.

Last weekend Jareds Buddy from work gave us some tickets to see some films up in park city! It was a perfect night to remind us of 5 years ago that night!

Be fit and Look Fine In 2009

After all of the Holiday food and treats I couldn't take it any more! I know that new years eve is the last shabang before you start the year off right... but I thought it would be different and fun to have a fit party to end 2008 the right way.

I found these cute sweat bands at the dollar store for everyone to wear. Everyone brought healthy snacks and wore their work out clothes. We reserved the church gym and played dodge ball games and Basketball! It was a blast! Then we came home and play Wii fit the rest of the night. I made a healthy awards basket for anyone that won a game they got to pick something out of the basket! Everyone had a good time! And we started the year off right!

Christmas 08

Christmas was wonderful! We decided to use all of the money we got from Grandparents and buy a really fun slide for the kids! They thought it was so cool! We put it in Kades Room! Every morning when he wakes up that is the first thing he wants to do! Its so good for my kids since they are little monkey and need something to climb on!

I also made the kids blankets! I need to work on my sewing skills! :) but it was fun to do!

Jared Got me an I-Nike! It is sooo cool! you put it on your shoe and it talks to you through your I pod. It tells you how fast you are running and how far you have run! I was so excited!

This is all Jared got :) I finely printed some pictures of our family and hung them up for him for Christmas!

A caramel treat! That is easy to Eat!

Becky Had this very cute idea that she got from a magazine I think. It was so fun for the kids a super easy! This is what you do!

Use a fruit scooper and scoop out small balls from an apple.

melt Caramel in a pot

put apple balls on toothpicks

dip the balls in caramel

cover with sprinkles, crushed candy bars... anything you want

eat and enjoy!

Witches Night

Every year we give Awards out! This year tonii and I gave them A Color that Described them from the year! It was so fun! I made the witchie Trophies!

Tonii made the awards! It turned out so cute!
