The Famous Bean Table!

This has been a HIT! All you need is a 20 pound bag of dried pinto beans that you can get from Wall-Mart for Only $13!

Fill a long bin (I like the ones that can fit under your bed) with small trinkets and toys. I used a bunch of my scrap booking stuff. There are flowers, buttons, spider rings, ropes, letters, jewels, and much much more hidden throughout the beans. I put some kitchen utensils like cups, and spoons so the kids have something to move the beans around with.
We like to play "I spy" with this. I will ask Raegan to find something and she will work hard looking for it. This keeps her busy for hours!

I took this To Nursery one day! It was a hit! The kids played with it forever! The lesson was on prayer and so I hit small pictures of people praying throughout the beans. I had the kids see how many they could find!

I love this idea. I always love the rice table when I was in kindergarden. I will have to store it away for when I have kiddies of my own. Thanks for sharing.

Ahhh! This is so great. I've done these in preschools, but haven't thought to bring this to my home. How perfect for I Spy. Thanks!

Love this! I have done small ones with rice but a big one with beans would never have occurred to me. Thanks...

I just ran across your blog and wanted to say what an awesome name your daughter has! My daughters name is also Reagan (spelled a little different), she is 3 years old.
